All seniors and their families should now be applying for financial aid via the FAFSA form. It can be found at www.fafsa.ed.gov and is free to file. It must be filled out and signed by both parent and student. It is permitted to file the form using estimated 2012 tax information and after your tax return is finished, you can go back to it and correct it. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOUR TAXES ARE FILED TO FILL OUT THE FORM OR YOU WILL MISS IMPORTANT DEADLINES. I have posted instructionsfor filling out the form at the right in the pages section of the blog.
Don't forget: even if you think you do not qualify for financial aid, you must file the form anyway in order to receive funding for the Bright Futures.
