It is finally time to apply for the Bright Futures. All seniors should fill out the application since this also serves as the financial aid application for Florida (FAFSA is for the federal govt.) Apply even if you do not yet have the qualifications. Bright Futures will continue to update your file until the parameters are met. The earlier you apply, the sooner you can lock in the scholarship. Apply even if you think you will be attending college out of state. This will insure that if you decide to come back to Florida, you can then pick up your scholarship and use it. Everyone that fills out an application before February will get some valuable feedback-either you will qualify or we can determine what you will need to do to qualify.
